Token Utility

The $GRG token is the core ecosystem token that powers the platform. Holding $GRG allows users to benefit from the success of the Good Run Games platform. Platform revenue (the rake and tournament fee) is dedicated to support the native token and ecosystem growth. 70% of all platform revenue, as described above, will be used for buybacks of $GRG.

Tokens bought back will only ever be used for future community rewards or token burns. These tokens, once bought back, will never be sold by the Team.

On top of buybacks, players will reap the benefits of platform revenue via exclusive rakebacks for players - directly distributed in USDT on SOL.

The token plays a central role in the platform’s airdrop campaign, helping to reward early users and community organizers who drive real growth. While referral fees will be paid back in USDT, we expect to see a flow of funds from referrals to also flow back into the ecosystem. Especially from those frequently hosting their own private games.

As the platform evolves, $GRG will be used to experiment with token-based features such as discounted rake for holders, wager-based incentives, and tiered loyalty perks. These mechanics are designed to strengthen network effects and reward repeat engagement.
